I just got this polarized lens for my canon eos t1i my teacher told me to go tiffen but i read the reviews and people said this was good my lens fell apart and the part that screws in is stuck in my lens i had to us a needle nose to get it out on the first day of using it this is very cheep VERY bad quality but when it wasnt broken it took great pics but i will be buying tiffen from now on
I love this polarizer and couldn't imagine how long I haven't been using one. I've been using this and like it says it does bring the details out especially when it comes to landscapes. I've used it to make the oceans for fleshed out and skies bluer instead of it being dull. Granted, theres always photoshop, but, this would eliminate some of the problems that you would face right off the bat. For me, I think its worth the purchase.
It works as a polarizer no doubt. Fits right on my 50mm lens. But it creates a wierd greenish flare when I am taking pictures of any light source (e.g. lamps, sunlight). But sometimes flares are cool. I would recommend spending more money on a multicoated circular polarizer, or not buying any at all.
This is easy to fix on your current lens, I have a Rebel XS with 18-55mm with diameter 58mm. I am a beginner and I followed exactly what many has said about using the cir polarizing filters and I got really stunning sky and water colors. This is my first filter and I really love it. I am going to experiment with this filter over and over again and write more reviews. But I would strongly recommend this filter for beginners.
I have had no problem with this product. I'm a beginner, and not too knowledgeable. But, I found that it does work on changing reflections and filtering them. Affordable, and goes well with my Nikon 35mm f1.8 lens.
